Where are you?
On the west side of the island, facing Tunisia, about half way (6-7 km on main road) between Pantelleria village and Scauri and at ten minutes’ drive from the airport.
Are you far from the sea?
Our estate borders on the sea: this is why our dammusi are only two or four minutes easy walking far, mostly under pines shade. Our coastline, even if rocky (as everywhere else in Pantelleria), is by far more reachable than elsewhere as it slopes down gently and it is easily accessible.
What kind of structures do you have?
Along the coast we have a large meadow with cane shelters, showers and longing chairs. Our guests may also enjoy a large swimming pool with shadowed areas under the pines and, close to the breakfast area, a smaller wellness swimming pool and a Jacuzzi. Pathways mostly under pine trees cross the whole estate.
What kind of benefits do you offer?
Apart from a relatively easy access to the close-by sea, we offer a practically total privacy not only on our shore but also between dammusi, which are surrounded by trees and flowers, in the luxury that only large spaces can offer.
How is that your structure is more expensive than many others?
For the many advantages we offer, including distance from crowded areas, an easy and private access to the sea, privacy and big spaces.
Why such a wide range of prices?
Depending on different periods, also because breakfast is served only during summer months. Apart from this, our dammusi differ a lot one from the other, as size and dimension.
Why would we choose your dammusi?
We have tried to create a mood to have our guests feel as much as possible at their ease. Our dammusi are all totally independent, with own well-furnished kitchen and air conditioning with heating system. Bathrooms have all usual appliances, including hairdryers. On the outside, all our dammusi have own parking and ample areas to relax under the shade of bamboo canes, far from tedious noises and from other homes.
What does the price include?
a– shuttle service to and from the airport or harbor;
b – daily cleaning and weekly change of linen; upon request, this change may be made also more often and this will be each time charged 25 euro per bed;
c – sea and kitchen towels; pots, pottery, glasses, covers and whatever else may be required, as if you were at home;
d – gas, water and electricity; we trust that our guests have the discretion and sensibility to limit the use of air conditioning and of precious water; do not throw into the toilette any paper and rather use the small basket;
e – breakfast will be served from 30th of may till 26th of september and from 08.30 to 10.30. On request to be done one day earlier, we may prepare a cold quick lunch to be chosen on the menu;
f -high-speed wi.fi on almost everywhere.
What about a minimum lenght of stay?
Throughout the good season the usual minimum stay is one week (or multiples), while from November till April the minimum stay is lowered to four days.
How can i book a dammuso?
It is enough to choose the period you prefer and then click “search”. Our dammusi at that moment still available will appear, so it is up to you to indicate your preference: payments will follow as hereunder indicted and from the moment of our acceptance your booking is already confirmed. A quote we send via phone or mail will be valid for no more than 2 days, unless in the meantime we will have received a confirmation online; this will automatically cancel your option.
How can i pay?
By credit card. We shall confirm your booking as soon as we will have been credited with 30% of the foreseen amount. The remaining 70% will have to be paid, always by credit card, one month ahead of your scheduled arrival. Sorry, we cannot accept cash. Upon request, we shall give you a paper receipt.
Are there penalties in case of cancellation?
No penalty on cancellations received at least 40 days before scheduled arrival; a penalty of 50% on cancellations received between 40 and 30 days ahead; a penalty corresponding to foreseen full payment will be applied on cancellations made under 30 days or in case of show.
Is any deposit required?
Yes, 500 euro by credit card at your arrival before you get your keys, to be canceled when you leave, once deducted possible damages or costs for extra cleaning or change of linen or telephone (cell connection does not cover the whole estate)
How to rent a car or a scooter?
Upon request we can take care on your behalf and have it ready for you either at your dammuso or at the airport, to save you bothering and long loss of time when you arrive or leave; alternatively, we may have you pick up or leave it at the airport or harbor. In any event we shall fetch you. We suggest not to rent rafts for the whole period as you will find yourself obliged to pay its rent even in case of adverse weather; better rent when required.
